There's Plenty Going On

We may not have totally got the rhythm of adding to our family blog as a record of our activities, but it's not due to a lack of activities.

Ali is home and doing all she can to prepare for her mission. It's just three weeks until she leaves. She has been working in the temple, practicing Portuguese, working to pass her last skate test, and being a companion to Mom in all kinds of activities.

Lauren started a new job. It's only a few blocks from their apartment and so far the report is that the schedule, work, and people are all great.

Kristi Lee is super excited about her internship at ABC News 4 in Salt Lake. It's a meaningful experience and she loves what she's doing.

Travis reports that his classes are great. Loves his program.

Kyle and Caitlin have the biggest event with the purchase of their home in Connecticut. They moved in yesterday and are super excited. The place looks great! Lots of space and a great lot.

Now we just need everyone to add detail.

Let's Get Started

After an amazing Christmas holiday we sat down and listed everything we could remember from almost three weeks of activities. What resulted were several magical lists of memories made as a family tried to make every minute count.

The second part of our summary exercise was to identify ways that we can continue to progress together even when we are apart and continue to pursue common values and goals. We also want to stay connected in every way possible. One result of that discussion was to create a family blog. This way we can document and share events in a common space whether they occur together as the whole STLNeuberger clan or in our own day to day lives. The hope is that it will be memorable, inspiring, nostalgic, and motivating. Ultimately the goal is to help us remember our desire to one day be gathered in heaven and there be "no empty seats!"
All for one and onesies for all!
One other important photo is the background pic of this blog. It's from Thanksgiving 2015 and represents the first time we we were all together after our family expanded by the first marriages. The joy in the expressions really captures how we felt.
We're the Neubergers! Hooray!
Who knows when we will ever have so much time together again, but to keep it alive here is the list of memories we generated: (I'll edit this post and type in the lists later)
